OTSDE Outdoors

An introduction
Have you ever tried to look up where to hunt, where to fish, or even what gear you need, only to end up in a rabbit hole of confusing forums? You sift through seven different websites, none of which make any sense, and leave feeling more lost than when you started. Or, even worse, you ask a “professional” —and suddenly wish you hadn’t. Yeah, it fucking sucks.
The thing is, if you didn’t grow up hunting or fishing, it can be a really hard hobby to teach yourself. And if you’re a woman? It’s like trying to crack a code that was never meant for you. Let’s be real—the hunting and fishing world has traditionally been built around men. Not on purpose, maybe, but the result is the same: we’ve been unintentionally left out of the conversation for way too long.
I want to change the narrative. I want to give women—or anyone who’s felt left out—the tips, tricks, and essential information they need to break into hunting and fishing. It’s time we have a seat at the table (or in this case, a spot in the blind or on the boat). The outdoors is meant to be enjoyed by everyone, and that includes us.
So whether you’re already a seasoned hunter or someone who’s never picked up a rod in your life, I’m here to help. Let’s break down the barriers and explore the wild together—because, honestly? I’m happiest when I’m outside, and I want to make sure you can be too.
